Funnel Clouds
On Saturday, I was baking cookies and making pasta for a barbecue when the storm sirens went off. So, we hustled Logan, Claire, Kadence, Jaiden, the dog, and the cat into the basement. My mom and dad and I stood out on the front porch and watched numerous funnel clouds come out of the sky. It was a beautiful, yet terrifying site. The sirens sounded numerous times for the next 2 hours, and then the sun came out for our barbecue! Thankfully, none of the funnel clouds made it to the ground!

Minnesota
Friday July 4th at 4pm Logan, Kadence, Jaiden, Maizy and I left for MN. From about 9pm until 12am we watched the most beautiful fireworks as we were driving. It was amazing! We arrived at my parent's house Saturday morning at 8am just in time for coffee. They didn't know we were coming, so it was fun being able to surprise them. We actually didn't know we were coming until Friday at 2pm. I will try to blog as much as possible.

Cedar Thingy
TX is hot! We decided we definately need more shade. Jed built what we refer to as the 'Cedar Thingy'. He built this from his mind and drawings that he created. It turned out great! We are loving it! Thanks Jed!

What a day of fun! My friend Melissa came over with her daughters Mady and Nikki, and twin boys Luke and Ezra, and friend Heather. Mady called me when they were on the way over and said, "Jenny, can we make cookies today?" "Of course, Mady!" We had a great day...baking and then off to the pool!

Luke and Ezra are so precious! I think if I let them eat cookie dough out of the bowl and cookies fresh from the oven they will always like coming to my house! Sneaky, I know!
