On Saturday, I was baking cookies and making pasta for a barbecue when the storm sirens went off. So, we hustled Logan, Claire, Kadence, Jaiden, the dog, and the cat into the basement. My mom and dad and I stood out on the front porch and watched numerous funnel clouds come out of the sky. It was a beautiful, yet terrifying site. The sirens sounded numerous times for the next 2 hours, and then the sun came out for our barbecue! Thankfully, none of the funnel clouds made it to the ground!

What scary yet awesome pictures of nature! Glad you still got to barbecue!
Wow! Awesome photos, Jenny!
How nice of the weather to cooperate for your BBQ. :-)
(by the way -- we miss you!)
great photos! Glad you are safe and to see posts from you again!
OMG! That's insane that you got pictures of funnel clouds! You can tell I'm not from TX, huh? I'd have been in a bunker! Those storms are pretty exciting, though.
Good to know you are still there chica! Nature is awesome.
Scary! I'm glad you were all untouched and able to enjoy your barbeque though. It's good to hear about you, too - you've been on my mind a lot and I even had a dream with Logan in it (saving the day!) last night! Crazy :)
